Branson Bice
Branson began his artistic journey at the age of 13 at the Culture House Performing Arts Academy where he received extensive training in dance, theatre, classical mime, stunts and combat, voice, and music. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2015. While studying on scholarship at UMKC, he performed with Kansas City Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Wylliams/Henry Contemporary Dance Company, Storling Dance Theater, and Dramatic Truth Ballet and is a frequent guest artist at with Culture House Performing Arts School of Dance. Since joining Ballet Quad Cities in 2015 he has performed memorable roles such as Russian Trepek and Arabian Dance in the “The Nutcracker”, The Moor in Emily Kate Long’s "Petrushka", Dr. Van Helsing in Deanna Carter’s “Dracula”, The Roper in Margaret King’s “Rodeo” and most recently the role of Pat Garrett in Courtney Lyon’s “Billy the Kid.” Branson is thrilled to continue with BQC for a third season. He is always excited to see what is next, and is looking forward to further perfecting his craft as a dancer.
