Fiona McGrath Nagle and Teleah Thomas love to express themselves through the hypnotic, graceful power of dance.

Miss Nagle, 17, a recent Rock Island High School graduate, and Miss Thomas, a 16-year-old Pleasant Valley High student, are two of the eight female dancers who are paid apprentices in this year's Quad City Arts Metro Arts summer employment program. The public is invited to see them perform in the Metro Arts Showcase scheduled for 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Boys and Girls Club, 1122 5th Ave., Moline.
