Brianna Hunter

Apprentice

Brianna Hunter, who grew up in Wilton, Iowa, is in her first year as a Ballet Quad Cities Apprentice. She received her early dance training from Lolly Ludtke and Crystal Jones. In 2004, Ms. Hunter began her formal ballet training at the City Center School of the Arts, under the direction of Johanne Jakhelln. While dancing at City Center, she became a member of Ballet Quad Cities II where she enjoyed performing in Jakhelln’s White Slate and Chairished. Ms. Hunter has also danced in a number of Ballet Quad Cities’ productions including Jakhelln’s The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and The Nightingale as well as Matthew Keefe’s Blue River.
