Heidi Dunn
Heidi Dunn, a Quad City native, began ballet training at the age of eight when she performed with the youth company Cassandra Manning Ballet Theater. She then moved to St. Louis to study at the Ballet Conservatory with Nathalie Levine. In 1997, Ms. Dunn began her formal training with Johanne Jakhelln at City Center School of the Arts. After graduating from high school, she was invited to become an Apprentice with CMBT. Ms. Dunn has performed feature roles in many of Jakhelln’s original ballets such as White Slate and Chairished. After a yearlong sabbatical, she returned during the 2002-2003 season performing in Heartland Dances and Cinderella. Since becoming a full company member, she has worked with Dominic Walsh in Die Hochzeit and with Deanna Carter in Bach’s Suite No. 1 in C Major. She has been featured as “Dew Drop” in The Nutcracker and “Princess Florine” in The Sleeping Beauty. This will be Ms. Dunn’s fifth season with Ballet Quad Cities.
