
Jennifer Weber
Jennifer Weber, a native of Omaha,NE, began her dance training at Ballet Omaha under the direction of Robin Welch. She has performed internationally at the Shizuoka Ballet Festival in Japan. Ms. Weber joined the ranks of the professional Omaha Theatre Company in 1999 and danced with them for three seasons while completing her BA in mathematics and graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. While in Omaha, she performed in a variety of pieces such as Balanchine’s Valse Fantasy, Norman Walker’s Prayer and Fantasie, The Nutcracker, and Coppélia. Since joining Ballet Quad Cities in 2002, Ms. Weber has danced in many of Johanne Jakhelln’s original works including Lyric for Strings, “Edith” in From the Pages of a Young Girl’s Life, “Violette Fairy” in The Sleeping Beauty, and many others. Ms. Weber enjoyed dancing in Interim Artistic Director Matthew Keefe’s works such as the role of “Snow Queen” in The Nutcracker and the “Pas de Trois” from Danses Concertantes. She is returning to the Company for her sixth season. She teaches ballet and pointe at City Center School of the Arts and is the Co-Director of Ballet Quad Cities II.
