BQC in NYC

Ballet Quad Cities will be performing in New York City at the Ailey Citigroup Theatre on April 9, 10 & 11! Our resident choreographer, Deanna Carter, was chosen by Ballet Builders by audition and merit to have her work Ash to Glass presented at New Choreographers on Point. She chose to have Ballet Quad Cities perform her piece, and with your help, we'll be able to represent the QC in NYC! To help, read below!

Help Send BQC to NYC

Have you heard? Ballet Quad Cities has been invited to dance in New York!

Deanna Carter, our frequent guest choreographer, has been chosen to be a part of the prestigious Ballet Builders New Choreographers on Point in New York based on her work, Ash to Glass. And she’s taking Ballet Quad Cities with her to perform it on April 9th, 10th and 11th! Check out the website www.balletbuilders.org.

Can’t go to New York? No problem. See Ash to Glass right here on February 13th at 7:30 or February 14th at 2:00 at the Capitol Theatre.

At both performances, you’ll have a chance to meet Deanna Carter and hear the inspiring story behind her musical choices and choreography. For added fun, on February 13th, you’ll nibble hors d’oeuvres made by Linda Bowers, a ballerina-and-chef wanna-be!

Want to help us get to New York? To help defray travel and lodging expenses, you can send a donation to Ballet Quad Cities.

We hope you are as thrilled as we are to be a part of this extraordinary adventure!
