Nutcracker Community Cast Information

Important theater notes and schedule for Davenport: 

***No student dancers allowed in dressing rooms without an assigned parent volunteer. Student dancers may only be dropped off and picked up from the assigned spot within the stage door. No student dancer may leave through the lobby or the audience to be picked up

***PER BALLET QUAD CITIES: absolutely no photos or videos may be taken during a rehearsal or performance.  Anyone taking photos or videos will be escorted out of the theater. No exceptions.

***Performance hair and makeup need to be done BEFORE your student dancer arrives at the theater.

***No hairspray or makeup except lipstick in the dressing rooms.  Dressing room volunteers will have extra hairspray. Student dancers need to bring extra hair pins. Bring lipstick to be applied right before performance. Bring a big button-down shirt to cover costumes.

***Due to space limitation in the dressing room please only bring a small dance bag backstage 

Thursday December 11 Adler Theatre, Davenport Spacing rehearsal

Parents may wait for student dancers in the back several rows of the theater.

Arrive 15 mins before your rehearsal. Student dancers arrive though the stage door located off Brady Street alley behind the Adler- and sit in the audience. No dressing room access.

4:45-5:30 Act II- Angels, Opening, Chinese, Ukrainian, Gingerbread, Finale, Bows

5:30-6:45 Act I- Party Scene and Battle Scene- Party Children, girls, boys, Guests, Mice, Rats, Soldiers

Friday December 12 Adler Theatre, Davenport TWO SCHOOL MATINEES

7:45am-9:00 Warm up on Stage for company and level 6/7 student dancers. 6/7 student dancers will take barre in the audience and move to stage for center floor.

9:30am All student dancers arrive at the Stage door. Student dancers will be escorted to dressing rooms by assigned parent/guardian volunteers.

10:00am School Performance #1 ONE HOUR IN LENGTH

Send your dancer with a packed lunch. Student dancers will be taken to the green room to eat their packed lunch. 

12:30pm Student dancers will return to dressing rooms

1:00pm School Matinee #2 ONE HOUR IN LENGTH

2:00pm Pick Up at stage door 

Saturday December 13 Adler Theatre, 

Davenport  2:00pm and 7:00pm Performance. Audience is closed during warm up classes. 

11:30am-1:00 Warmup class for BQCSD Level 6/7 student dancers and BQC Company

1:30pm ALL student dancers arrive at the Stage door

2:00pm Performance

Pick up at the end of performance. If your student dancer is only in Act I and you are not volunteering or would like for them to watch Act II, you may pick them up after Act I. Please let Amanda know in writing via the cast email by December 12th.

5:15pm-6:00 Warmup class for BQCSD Level 6/7 student dancers and BQC Company

6:30pm All student dancers arrive at the Stage door. Student dancers will be escorted to dressing rooms by assigned parent/guardian volunteer.

7:00pm Performance 

Pick up at the end of performance. If your student dancer is only in Act I and you are not volunteering or would like for them to watch Act II, you may pick them up after Act I. Please let Amanda know in writing via the cast email by December 12th.

Sunday December 1 Adler Theatre, Davenport  2:00pm Performance Audience is closed during warm up class. 

11:30am-1:00 Warmup class for BQCSD Level 6/7 student dancers and BQC Company

1:30pm ALL student dancers arrive at the Stage door

2:00pm Performance

Pick up at the end of performance. If your student dancer is only in Act I and you are not volunteering or would like for them to watch Act II, you may pick them up after Act I. Please let Amanda know in writing via the cast email by December 12th.

Volunteers: If you are volunteering during Act I of the performance, please arrive 1 hour early. Your student dancer will be able to arrive 1 hour early to the dressing rooms. If you are volunteering at the gift table, please plan to pick your student dancer up when the gift sales end.

If you are volunteering at the gift table pack up please pick up your student dancer before arriving in the lobby. Please note that only student dancers of volunteers will be allowed in the dressing rooms early.

December 12 - Two Abbreviated School Matinee Performances- 10:00am, 1:00pm

December 13 & 14 - Public performances at Adler Theatre- Saturday 2:00, Saturday 7:00, Sunday 2:00
