Dance Me A Story: Exploring Literature through Ballet
Join Emily Kate Long for an interactive program that brings books to life through movement, music, and imagination. After enjoying a story together, participants will learn simple ballet movements inspired by the characters and events in the book, discovering how dancers tell stories without saying a word. Along the way, you will get a behind-the-scenes look at the details that make a ballet performance sparkle. There will even be a chance to dress up and join in the fun! Perfect for readers, movers, and dreamers, of all ages and abilities, Dance Me a Story encourages creativity, self-expression, and a love of both literature and dance.
