Kira Roberts trained at Florida School for Dance Education until 2017 under the direction of Michele Zehner. After completing high school and earning an Associate of Arts, she was awarded a scholarship to Colorado Ballet’s Pre-Professional Division. During her time in Denver, Kira studied both ballet performance and ballet pedagogy. In 2021, Kira earned her Bachelor’s degree in Earth Science from Mississippi State University. Later that year, she moved to Rock Island to dance with Ballet Quad Cities professional company. Over the past 5 years in the QC, Kira has taught ballet at Luminous Dance Force, lead the education team and created conservation focused curriculum for Niabi Zoo, and presented numerous BQC outreach programs. Kira is excited to begin teaching at Ballet Quad Cities School of Dance in the Children’s Division for the 2026/27 school year!
