Margaret Ellis is Assistant Professor of Music and Physical Education at Augustana College. Since starting in 1995, she teaches classes in music theory, music appreciation, applied trumpet, ballet, and serves as Coordinator of Recruiting. Ellis received a Bachelor of Music degree in trumpet performance from Augustana in 1993 and a Master of Music degree in Music Theory from Northwestern University in 1994. She advises the Augustana Dance Company and has been a dance instructor in the Quad Cities and the Chicago area for over 35 years. Ms. Ellis loves to volunteer in the community and is a proud resident of Rock Island where she lives with her husband, David, and her three children. In her spare time, she loves to travel, read, bake, and spend time with her pets.
