Sarah Pfeiffer

Sarah Pfeiffer grew up dancing in Orlando, Florida as a student and then trainee with the Orlando Ballet. Throughout her training, Sarah attended summer courses at Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet Theater, Kibbutz Contemporary Company in Israel, and Chautauqua. While at Chautauqua she had the honor of being coached by Patricia McBride in The Man I Love pas de deux and performing in the Washington Ballet’s Swan Lake. In 2017 she joined the Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Professional Division under the direction of Peter Boal. While at PNB Sarah performed company roles including Flute in Fanfare, Butterfly in George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and various roles in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®. After graduating from PNB Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Ballet and Arts Management at Indiana University under the direction of Sarah Wroth. While dancing at IU, Sarah trained under Kyra Nicols, Carla Korbes, and Sasha Janes to perform roles such as Sugar Plum in Michael Vernon’s The Nutcracker, Russian Girls in Serenade, and Antony Tudor’s Dark Elegies. Sarah then joined Alabama Ballet as an apprentice company dancer, where she had the pleasure of performing many company roles such as a Willi in Giselle, various roles in George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®, and the Soloist Girl in Mikey Mathews’ original work The Light That Burned My Eyes. She is so excited to start her first season with Ballet Quad Cities!
