Wednesday May 20th Galvin Fine Arts Center, Davenport IA
*REHEARSALS AND PICTURES ON STAGE*
-Arrive 15 mins before your rehearsal time and sit with your class in the theater
-All levels must arrive with performance hair and nice makeup on, in clean and new class leotards, tights and shoes. Levels 5,6,7 need fake eyelashes and small rhinestone earrings.
Costumes and headpieces will be at the theater.
-Females: Hair in a bun, slicked back away from face. Use a hairnet, hairpins, hairspray etc
-Males: Hair combed and tidy, use hairspray
-ALL Modern, Jazz, and Tap students MUST have their own ankle length black pants
-NEW THIS YEAR: ALL Tap dancers need to wear black socks
-No nail polish, jewelry, holes in shoes or tights
-No food in the theater or dressing rooms
-Only parent volunteers allowed in dressing room
Wednesday Schedule: arrive 15 min early!
4:15-5:15 Spacing on stage for Creative Movement, Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Tap ½, Ballet 4
5:00 Levels 3, 5, 6/7 arrive and put on costumes
5:15-5:30 All School Photo in costumes
5:30-6:30 Class Photos
6:30-7:45 Finale Bow for levels 4, 5, 6/7, and Spacing for Ballet 3, Tap ¾, Tap 5/6/7, Ballet 5, Modern 5/6/7, Jazz 5/6/7
7:45-8:30 Spacing for Ballet 6/7 and Rep 6/7
Thursday May 21 Galvin Fine Arts Center, Davenport IA
*6:30 PERFORMANCE*
-All dancers must arrive with performance hair, makeup, and tights and leotards on
-Audience members are allowed to photo and video the performance, but please be courteous of others.
-Tickets are available at door- cash or check- but we request you purchase ahead of time if possible
4:30 Ballet 5/6/7 arrive
4:45-5:45 Ballet 5/6/7 Warm up on stage
6:00 Creative Movement, Ballet 1, Ballet 2, Ballet 3, Ballet 4A and all other dancers arrive to dressing rooms
6:00 Theater opens for the audience
6:30 Performance begins- Dancers in Act I only will meet a parent/guardian in the lobby in the short intermission and return to the theater to watch Act II.
